Following a hugely successful ride to Paris in 2016, Dan’s Trust and The Fearless Foundation are sticking
to the theme of famous European cities and this year will be riding from Amsterdam to London, finishing by the Thames at the magnificent Tower Bridge. The ride itself will take place over three days, visiting four countries and taking in three ferry crossings!

Mileage and elevation overview

Amsterdam to Renesse

Renesse to Dunkirk

Dover to London

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

As usual, this ride will be fully supported by pie events with a crew of bike guides, medics and tour leaders. The route will include a variety of terrain from the flat expanses of Holland, all the way through to the beautiful hilly scenery of Kent and Sussex in the UK.

iTINERARY (subject to change)

Wednesday 21st June

Cyclists travel out to Amsterdam, to be met by the pie crew on arrival at the hotel. Dinner at leisure.

Thursday 22nd June

Amsterdam to Renesse

Breakfast will be provided at the hotel, before a welcome speech and briefing. Riders will then split off into guided groups and make their way out of the city, heading south-west along the canals and towards the coast. With just 200m in elevation gain, this first day is a great introduction to the ride. Dinner and hotel accommodation will be provided in Renesse, with its endless beach and beautiful views.

Friday 23rd June

Renesse to Dunkirk

At over 170km, this is the longest day of the trip by far. Thankfully, there is once again minimal elevation gain (230m), meaning the miles will fly past! Riders will pass through Belgium and into France – arriving to a well-earned meal and comfy bed in Dunkirk!

Saturday 24th June

Dover to London

The final, and arguably toughest, day is saved until last. A short ferry ride across the Channel brings the riders into Dover and back on home turf! The day will be spent riding through Kent, before making the final approach into London. Friends and family will join in the finish line celebrations in front of Tower Bridge, before a fantastic celebration meal in the evening.

Sunday 25th June

Check-out and travel home at leisure.
